Although Wrapped in Love seems geared towards adults, kids of all ages can get involved. It's never too early to teach children how to treat animals with kindness and gentleness. Plus, there are plenty of projects that you can do with kids. From coloring pages to word search puzzles, from learning to make no sew blankets to braiding fleece dog tug toys, kids can have fun learning and at the same time help the rescue animals. Wrapped in Love: artisans with a mission members have led multiple groups of smaller children as well as teens. Scout troops and 4Hers are just two examples of a great fit. We offer certificates of accomplishment and appreciation for each youth who participates. It's a rewarding effort for everyone, particularly the rescue animals. Once the items are donated we can't wait to see if one of their blankets goes home with an animal and a photo gets shared. We love to see those photos! So, how can you get your kids or group involved? Join us on our Facebook page at artisanswithamission. We'll get you all the information you need including helping you find a worthy local rescue for donating your completed items. If you'd like to print out some coloring pages or puzzles for your kids, head on over to our forum and look for WIL Kids. Our dream is to someday have WIL Kids group so big we will need a dedicated team just for them.
