Introducing the team

Wrapped in Love: artisans with a mission is comprised of all volunteers. Our administrators hail from all over the US and Canada. Learn more about your team here.

Linda Wallace
Director

Linda was born and raised in northwestern Massachusetts but now lives in southern Indiana with her husband and rescue animals. The types and number of animals change regularly.  In 2014 Linda found the page for Wrapped in Love on Facebook. She was an English major in college, so offered to help edit the documents and posts. In fact, she bothered the founder of Wrapped in Love until he made her his assistant. In 2015 he asked her to take the lead and she reluctantly agreed. After a career in business to business customer service management, Linda now dedicates her time to running all things Wrapped in Love. Animals are her passion. Linda sews, crochets, and enjoys reading in her spare time.

Kathy Cox
Rescue Coordinator & Assistant to the Director

Kathy lives in East Tennessee with her husband and their dogs.  Always loving to sew and being an animal lover, joining Wrapped in Love in 2014 was a perfect fit.  Retired after a career in Purchasing, Kathy now spends her time sewing, taking care of her babies, working on family ancestry, boating and camping with her family. Kathy makes sure all the new members of WIL are welcomed and she coordinates efforts with rescues that join the WIL family.

Beverly Kirkpatrick
Belly Band & Diaper Team

Beverly lives in northern California with her dogs. Bev is a mom, and grandmother and recently retired. She has lots of hobbies including being the go-to person for all things belly band, diapers, and special sewing projects. Thanks to Bev, we have tutorials posted on our Youtube page for both belly band and diaper making. In addition to sewing for Wrapped in Love, Bev also enjoys special projects like creating patterns and ways to make items that make life better for rescuers and their special needs rescued cats and dogs.  She has been with Wrapped in Love from the very start. Her other hobbies include making beer, drinking craft beer, learning CAD software to create files for their plasma cutter, and furniture refinishing.

Carrie Hull
Belly Band & Diaper Team

Carrie lives in Colorado with her cute little rescue dog Jameson. Along with Bev, Carrie has been with Wrapped in Love from the beginning. She also reached a personal goal in 2016 by reaching the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Carrie has a full time career but enjoys making items for Wrapped in Love in her spare time.  Carrie sews all kinds of items for WIL and crochets blankets that her dog tests and provides excellent quality control.

Linda Pooley
WIL-Southeast

Originally from New York, Linda Pooley moved to South Carolina with her family when she was a high school senior. As an adult, most of her time has been spent teaching. She has her Master's Degree in Physical Education as well as being certified in 3 areas of Special Education and an additional certification in administration. She has spent 35 years teaching, most currently teaching students who are not in a traditional classroom setting either for medical or behavioral reasons. Linda first learned to sew from her aunt but went 40 years without sewing again. In 2014 she saw a Facebook post about Wrapped in Love and joined up. She got a refresher course in sewing from her niece, bought a machine and now in her spare time after teaching she sews all kinds of things for WIL projects, plus is the admin the southeast region of the US.  She and her sister makes lots of blankets, not just for the southeast!

Kathy Walsh
WIL-Northeast

A former Senator of the Republic, Kathy now resides in  Pennsylvania, with her husband and son. When she’s not sewing, she enjoys Gungan Water Yoga and betting on pod races. Her dream is to retire to the ice planet Hoth, and take up skiing. When she isn't secretly fighting for the safety of all galaxies, Kathy runs the northeast chapter of Wrapped in Love and participates in such things as Blessings of the Animals.  She and her son borth make wonderful blankets for WIL projects.

Sharon Moore
WIL-Colorado

Sharon is retired. She adopted her sweet furbaby, Annabelle, from The Misfits Dog Rescue.  Annabelle was sent home with a flannel blanket from a WIL-Colorado member. After her mom passed away following 20 plus years of being her caregiver, Sharon needed something meaningful to occupy her time. Wrapped in Love's Colorado group fit the bill. At the time she joined the Admin group, WIL-Colorado's first leader, Bonnie Johnson was looking for someone to take her place as she and her husband were retiring and relocating to Florida. Sharon has done a wonderful job leading the group and helping the rescue animals in Colorado.
